Study in Turkey

In the past decade Turkey became a very popular destination among foreign students. Turkish universities follow the European standards and apply ECTS system of grading in higher institutions. The duration of Bachelor studies vary from 4 to 6 years depending on the field. Master Degree Programs usually lasts for 2 years; PhD Degree lasts for 4 – 6 years. The graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry can directly apply to PhD/Doctorate programmes in Turkey.

The qualifications in these three fields of study are considered to be the equivalent of a Yuksek Lisans Diplomasi (Master’s degree) The tuition fees starts from 1, 000 USD a year. Future students should also save 300 to 400 USD for monthly expenditures.
