Study in China

Higher education is provided by more than 2,200 institutions of various types including general and technical universities, specialized institutions, professional universities, military institutions, medical schools and colleges, independent colleges.

Bachelor’s Degree is awarded upon completion of programs requiring 4 to 5 years of study, depending on the field of study. Master’s Degree is awarded upon completion of programs requiring 2 to 3 years of education, depending on the major field of study; the completion of a master’s degree is required for admission to a doctoral program. Doctoral programs take 3 to 5 years to complete.
